How much does it cost?

There is an initial charge for the device which varies between £130 and £250 depending on its features and then there is an ongoing monthly subscription charge.

What sort of things can I locate?

Do the devices need charging?

Yes they do and depending on the type of subscription you have opted for the device will last for a day or more. We advise that you charge the device every night after use or during the day as some devices come with car chargers.

Are they waterproof?

No the devices themselves are not waterproof but some of the devices are water resistant, however, we can supply waterproof jackets for the device to be carried in.

Do you sell approved carry cases and accessories?

Yes we do! You will find a whole range of case, bags and clothing accessories in our shop.

How do I activate my device?

This is simple – when you receive your device you will need to enter a special key supplied with the device to register the device to your account.

How long is the initial contract?

Can I take my device abroad?

Yes you can but you need to be aware of the cost of 3G/GPRS and SMS charges for your chosen SIM card - you may also find the SIM card inside your device might be barred outside the country - give us a call or contact us if you need advice.

Are there any additions or extras to the subscription?

With your base subscription you will be able to find the location of your ‘Thing’ by request – the base subscription includes a set number of location request credits but it does not include continuous tracking aka Real-time tracking. You can upgrade to continuous (Real-time) tracking with an increase to your subscription. Please look in the ‘How much does it cost?’ section for more information on each of the subscriptions.
