Resellers and VARs

LocateMyThings.com offer a wide range of options for companies who would like to resell our services or use our services in their own applications.

Resellers

Anyone can become a reseller for LocateMyThings.com - all they need to do is contact LocateMyThings.com and tell us a bit about yourself and your company and how you intend to resell our service.

You might be asking 'What do I get from being a reseller?' - the answer is very much dependent on what interests you as we have two options you can choose - we offer a lump sum finders fee paid after a set number of months or a recurring monthly revenue that lasts as long as your customer subscription lasts - typically we will pay the third months subscription to you as a lump sum or pay you £1/ month throughout the life of the subscription.

When you join you will be given a reseller code which you need to use when ordering through our website on behalf of your customer - this helps us know who sold what and when.

If you are interested in becoming a Reseller please contact us here.

Value Added Resellers (VARs)

This service is ideal for companies who already offer a service or an application into an already established customer base - for example, you could be a security software company or a lone worker scheduling software company. This type of reseller agreement is just perfect if you want to offer our service as part of your own offering by linking the LocateMyThings.com engine directly to your product.

LocateMyThings.com provide both a Webservice and HTTP POST service for linking your application to our dashboard - this enables your software to set various functions on the device via a simple webservice call and your software can also be notified of various events directly via the LocateMyThings.com outgoing webservice.

The Webservice currently supports the following technologies:

  • Microsoft(c) .NET
  • Java
  • PHP
  • Any software product able to make and receive HTTP POST requests.

An example of a VAR integration would be a Lone Worker Scheduling software package that needs to know if the worker has arrived and then left a location they have been scheduled to attend - by receiving an arrived webservice notification and a subsequent departure notification your software can update your customer interfaces automatically without the need for manual intervention.

The cost of this service is POA but a typical VAR webservice link for 100 tracked units including support would cost £5 / month / device - please contact us for more information. Obviously this device will need an active account with LocateMyThings.com which you will of course have enjoyed a standard Reseller commission on.

Already have GPS tracking devices and want them to work with the LocateMyThings.com service? - Don't worry! we supply VAR's a special device integration price of £750.00 to setup your device to be available as a LocateMyThings.com managed device - this makes sure your historical investments stay useful!

If you are interested in our VAR offering please contact us here.

I'd Recommend It

"We have been using the 'Locatemything' tracker unit for a while now. It is attached to my 80 year old dad's keys, and my mum charges it up at night, at the same as her phone. I'd recommend it. Get the idea aired wih the carer early in the course of Alzheimers, and don't leave implementing it until its too late for technology to be useful."
